Business Initiatives: Rebuilding Local Strength

When the storm hit, local business owners faced huge challenges. Damaged storefronts, lost income, and uncertainty about the future. We knew that helping them get back on their feet would take more than quick fixes; it would take partnerships, creativity, and persistence.

Since then, we’ve partnered with 61 local businesses to provide support where it’s needed most. Through these collaborations, we’ve helped business owners access funding, restore operations, and reconnect with their customers.

Our efforts take many forms: supporting pop-up markets to bring people back to local shops, connecting entrepreneurs with grant opportunities, and offering one-on-one guidance through our Business Case Manager. Each step is designed to strengthen the long-term resilience of the Valley’s business community, keeping money and energy right here at home.
